Beware of the snake in sheeps clothing.
Once they have your loaded pod they warehouse it, and do not have a system to know where they put the pod and the fork lift driver at times can spend an hour and half searching for ONE pod. Leading one to believe that the company is too cheap to hire enough warehouse staff to be efficient.
I thought the service would be great, I thought wrong.... moving is stressfull enough. After having to be homeless as a family of five. The Manteca CA POD location delivered the wrong POD. To add fuel to the fire it was to the wrong address, then they still charged us for this. I shrugged it off happy to be in our home. I try to open the POD and everything is shifted. I tied it down in two places , leaving me to believe no one was carful with my family's belongings. I go to open the POD Sunday to find out I can't open the door due to the shifted belongings . I called and was told I have to wait till Monday, I called 3 times Monday asking where someone is with a truck to help. No return call! I ask for more time with my POD to handle the problem, customer service informs me I wI'll NOT be charged for more time. YET at 2:30 AM, I get a call from my wife while she is at work to inform me. We where charged again for another month. $100 for the wrong POD to the wrong house, and over $300 for another month of service because I can't get it open or a call or any help. I demand my money back, and I am going to cut the door off, if I don't get some help! I advise anyone that wants to use this location, go to Pack rat or even call the one on Sacramento. There is NO such thing as customer service at PODS in Manteca CA.
Great option for storage
If they keep holding trucks hostage to get loaded or off loaded like they do, they soon will not have professional drivers to haul the pods and will have to rely on inferior transportation.
I will never haul another pod ever again. They may get your pod to you timely to get your business, but on the transport end they're inefficient.

As a professional truck driver, hauling loaded pods, the outfit is a serious joke, be leary of the timelyness of this service.
