Surprisingly outstanding. My wife and I expected much worse but we were pleasantly surprised. The waiting room was nearly 2/3 full when we arrived, but the line moved quickly. The waiting room was pleasant and visual displays were interesting and informative. We spoke with our assigned agent who was extremely courteous and appeared quite knowledgeable of all our questions. She concluded her work with us and sent us to another agent for part two. The second agent was equally savvy, if not more, albeit for a different specialty within the office. In all, this was a very pleasant and outstanding visit to the Manteca Social Security Office.

I was really surprised at how quick I was in and out of there. Very helpful and polite staff. Please note that this is a weapons free facility so leave your pocket knife in your car. Otherwise security will have you leave and put it in your car and then they have to fill out paperwork.
I waited 15 minutes on the phone then I was told they don't make appointments. Got there 1:15pm left 2:45pm got my answer in 10 minutes. Bring a book and seat cushions seats made of metal. Windows 1-7 is no privacy people close by can hear you. Guard wants to check your purse or backpack. Small waiting area.
First time I went to this office. Needed to do something important, in a hurry and didn't have an appointment. Parking lot was small and full. But the guard was very professional and polite. The wait for non appointments was roughly 15-20 minutes. The employee that helped was extremely great and helped me. Was in and out in about 35 minutes. Highly recommend vs the Modesto office. Worth the trip if you live in the Oakdale or surrounding areas. Will always do business there for now on.
