Sales people are nice , store is clean. Prices can be a little high for the quality of furniture.
I was told about this store from a friend and went to see their selection of furniture. It's a normal selection but the customer service was great. I expected to be haggled but that wasn't the case. The woman who helped me was actually helpful. She told me to get the measurements of my living room so I could find a something that actually fit. I ended up buying just a bookshelf that she found for me on sale- in my price range. I recommend this place and would return in the future.
We went by what was recommended to us. If it's bad then we should have a replacement product because we relied on their expertise (or non). If the material inside the back cushion needs to be replaced, they should do that. The sofa is not cheap. Peggy said her manager will call me to see how they can resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I haven't received a call yet.
Based on these reviews I guess it's all in who's helping you. We had a good experience with Peggy, but did a lot of our own research on what we wanted beforehand. If you wait for the sales, the prices are a steal. We weren't hassled either and the staff was very helpful. They were willing to call other locations and manufacturer of what we were looking to buy.
We moved to Manteca a few months ago and were in need of a sofa. We came to this place and was helped by Peggy the salesperson. Not knowing much about sofas we followed her lead- this is better, that is better quality, this is of better material etc. We finally got the sofa which looked great when it arrived but when we sat on it, we noticed that when you sat down the back cushion would come down such that when we stand up, we have to fix the cushions and pat it back down to its original form. I called the store about this and after almost 2 weeks I got an email that says our claim has been denied and the issue is not a manufacturer defect. I called again and the person I spoke to, Katrina from customer service, had no other answer but "I'm not sure". How do we fix this? "I'm not sure". What can be done? "I'm not sure". I explained we can't be fixing the cushion back every time we sit on it. "I'm not sure". Can I return it? That's when she gave me a definite no.
The lady who helped me was kind & very helpful with what i needed to find. Got me in & out fast. Will come back again.
So be careful when you buy a sofa here because you won't get any help or support afterwards. The only thing they will tell you is that the sales is final and the sofa cannot be returned. Or, in the case of Katrina "I'm not sure".
